Are you sure they’re dead?
Not 100%. It’s our national parc Oostvaarders plassen. They dropped herds out there; horses, deer and cattle. And then they let nature go it’s way. The herds don’t have any natural enemies. So they grew and grew. And they eat the not so big trees, so most of them are just trunks with some larger branches. May be those can recover, when the herds are removed. But they look pretty dead to me…
