Because we had enjoyed a few excellent Kompaan beers, we decided to visit the Kompaan brewery and ended up in the ‘Kompaan Beer Bar’ (Saturnusstraat 55, The Hague). It is located in an industrial area and I like the no nonsense, rough atmosphere. Cheers!

The next day we checked out the Kompaan-brewery in The Hague. More about that tomorrow… (in the shot friend Bjorn, checking the catch)

After the beer-commercials, I might as well show you where we drank them: Cafe Boudewijn, Nieuwe Binnenweg 53a-b, Rotterdam. They used to have more to choose from… The atmosphere is good and you can order a pretty decent meal, when you’re hungry. Just in case you visit Rotterdam and get thirsty..

Part4 is one of our all time favorites: the I.P.A. from the IJ-Brewery in Amsterdam. (http://www.brouwerijhetij.nl/onze-bieren/) The gorgeous girl on the bottle used to be ‘printed’ on the bottle itself; but since the brewery grew (you can buy them at AH; one of our largest supermarkets, nowadays), she is printed on paper and glued to the bottle. An impoverishment! To ease the pain her behind is now also visible, glued to the backside… 😉

Part3 is a Kwak; beer from Belgium. It looked fun, that wooden handle; but we did not like the beer very much.

Nearly all the shots from Rotterdam, I’ve been posting lately, are from 25-05-2016. Friend Björn, who does not live in the Netherlands anymore, was over for a couple of days, to share our mutual passions: photography and: Beer. 🙂 This one is from the Rotterdam brewery LMNOP  (  http://lmnopbrewing.com/  ) a good one to start with..
