The Sun on a Tree on the Water on the Rocks

Reflex is about reflections in ‘glossy surfaces’ like water, glass, lacquer, etc. What fascinates me, is the indirect contact with reality; the unpredictable distortions; and the strange, multiple layerings when you can look in, or through the reflecting surface(s).

Reflex gaat over reflecties in glanzende oppervlaktes zoals water, glas of lak. Ik denk dat het indirecte contact met de uiterlijke werkelijkheid; de onvoorspelbare vervorming daarvan; en de gelaagdheid me fascineert.
