We left the car on the parking place at Lake Llauset and started an existing hike up to 2449m. It was a small and steep trail we followed; and it was cold, just above zero. But the view was great.

Coming from the South there is the village Aneto on the left side of the N-230. From Aneto we followed a small road up to Lake Llauset at 2126m. It was steep and rough and we couldn’t go any faster than 20km./h. The last part was a straight, dark tunnel of 1,5km. And then there was Lake Llauset and just a parkingplace.
