Where is this valley?
Spain, Pyrenees. Coming from the South there is the village Aneto on the left side of the N-230. From Aneto there is a small road up to Lake Llauset at 2126m. From there you have to hike to the valley with the Lakes of the Angels… If you go, have fun! 🙂
I spent the summer of 1985 in Catalunya but never made it to the Pyrenees. You’ve given me a reason to go there.
The mountain lakes in your photograph remind me of the lakes I saw a few months ago in the Rocky Mountains of Canada:
